What Is the DMCA?

The DMCA is a United States copyright law that provides a legal process for copyright holders to request the removal of infringing material, and for content owners to submit a counter-notification if they believe content was removed in error.

Filing a Copyright Infringement Notification

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to indsimulationsgames@gmail.com (subject line: “DMCA Takedown Request”) including:

  1. Your full legal name and contact information (address, phone number, email).
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The specific URL(s) of the material you believe is infringing.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Takedown Process

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it within 48–72 business hours, investigate the claim, remove or disable access to content found to be infringing, notify the uploader (where applicable) of their right to submit a counter-notification, and confirm the action taken to the complainant.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including your legal name and contact information, identification of the removed content and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court. If no legal action is filed by the original complainant, the content may be restored within 10–14 business days.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Any party found responsible for two or more valid takedown notices may have their access to this site’s interactive features (such as comments) permanently terminated.

Good Faith Standards

Please note that knowingly submitting a false DMCA claim may result in legal liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. We reserve the right to reject notices that appear abusive, incomplete, or submitted in bad faith.
